How do I order a boat?

We do not currently offer Hornbeck boats through our online store.
Our staff may ask you a few questions. We want to make sure that the boat you're ordering is just right for you! So, we take the time to verify that it's the perfect fit before you make your purchase.
We ask for a $500.00 deposit regardless of the boat size to reserve a boat for you or to get the build process started. We ask for the remaining balance upon your receipt of the boat. If you are getting the boat shipped, the remainder is collected when the boat transfers to the shipper.
What form of payments do you acccept
We accept all major credit cards, check and cash. There is no discount for using cash
Do you have inventory?
YES,
We try to have inventory of all of our most popular boats so that you can leave your demo with a boat. Due to storage restriction, inventory of boats over 12' is limited. The further along in the summer season we are, the less likely we are to have inventory available.
What is the turn-around time?
There is a very good chance you will be able to leave with a boat the same day. However, if we need to build one for you, time from order to pick-up is directly related to the type of boat you are ordering, the number of orders currently on our build list, and circumstances out of our control. This timing tends to get longer the farther into the summer season we are. However, we strive to keep our wait time around 3-4 weeks.
Picking up in MN
Boats are transfered from the Hornbeck factory to the MN location on a quarterly basis. There may be weight time from when you boat is built to when it will be available in MN.
Do you ship?
We ship our boats using private shipping firms. This guarantees quality service and safe delivery. These firms will typically line up a few deliveries together before they make a trip. This means there could be some lag between when a boat is ready and when it can be shipped. Price varies considerably based on location, number of boats ordered, and cost of fuel.

The Pickup Process
Every New boat comes with:

While there are many ways to attach a boat to a vehicle, we recommend either a hard rack or soft rack.
If you wish to purchase a rack from us please call ahead of time. We may need to order parts for your vehicle. Installation takes approx. 1 hour
(installation currently unavailable at MN location)
During your pickup of the boat, we will have you sit in the boat to determine the placement of the foot braces. The foot braces have approximately 10" of adjustment from end to end, however we want them to be placed as ideally as possible for the primary user. If multiple people are going to be using the boat we can adjust the placement accordingly.
While your foot braces are being installed (approx. 10 min) you can do any accessory shopping you may want and finalize payment for your boat.
When everything is ready we will assist you with tying the boat onto your vehicle. If you wish, we can walk you through the entire process step by step.
Then you are off on your adventures!
